Homewood Fire Department – Homewood Fire Department will bring one fire engine, and the smokehouse trailer for kids and parents to learn about fire safety.
Regional Paramedical Services – RPS will have an ambulance for kids to look in and learn about what the equipment is used for. Kids will have the opportunity to look and sit in the ambulance and talk to Paramedics about their job.
Homewood Police Department – Homewood Police Department will bring a patrol vehicle for kids to check out. Learn about what police officers do and how to call if you need them.
Homewood Pharmacy – Do you have any old prescription medication? Homewood Pharmacy will dispose of it for you free of charge and pharmacists will be on hand to answer any medication questions you may have.
Alabama Power – Brochures on electrical safety
Lifesaver Rescue Services – Lifesaver helicopter in attendance for kids to look at.
Jefferson County EMA – The EMA will be answering any questions you may have about any type of emergency situations.
ADT – Pamela Mason will be answering questions and giving information about the importance of home security.
Nall-Daniels Animal Clinic – Employees will be on hand to answer any pet questions to assist in the wellness of our furry loved ones.
Magic City Acceptance Center – The Magic City Acceptance Center will provide information on a safe, supportive center for (LGBTQ) people and their allies ages 13-24 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Poison Control – Nurses will be answering any questions and giving out information about how to contact in the event of a poisoning emergency.
Therapy South – Nikki Woods will be giving information about any physical therapy questions you may have.
Homewood Coalition – Homewood City School’s Homewood Coalition will be cheering for a healthier Homewood by providing information on Drug Abuse and other issues that our kids may be facing.
Safe Inc. – Safe Inc. will be providing information for parents on how to discuss the topic of safe sex with their children.
Homewood Friends and Family Chiropractic – Dr. Vignir will be discussing chiropractic questions and the importance of chiropractic health.
HomeFit Consulting – Interested in working out? Homefit will answer any questions on how to get started and if a personal trainer is good for you.
National Center for Sports Safety – NCSS works with Homewood Parks & Recreation on educating parents, coaches, and players on the potential dangers of sports. Staff will answer any questions regarding sports related illnesses or injuries.
Mary Kay – Stephanie Mardis will be giving out information on beauty products and the advantages of skin care.
Hoops for Fitness – Robbie Lewis is taking it back to the basics. Learn how to be fit with hula hooping.
Homewood Senior Center – Senior Center Director, Aimee Thornton, will be answering any questions you may have about the senior center.
Massage Therapy – Jim Johnson will be providing information on massage therapy.
Skin and Wellness Center – Information given and questions answered by dermatology professionals.
American Red Cross – American Red Cross Representatives will be answering any questions you have on Disaster relief, and will have the disaster relief vehicle for viewing.
ARC Water Safety – Water Safety Instructor Trainer, Emily Wren will provide information for you to make your aquatics experiences fun and safe.
Herzing College – EMT/Paramedics – EMTs and Paramedic students will be providing blood pressure and blood glucose screenings.
Fagan Sports Medicine – Dr. Fagan will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have regarding your athlete.
Oxmoor Valley Orthodontics – Dr. Sema will answer any questions you may have about braces and pretty smiles. Information about orthodontic health will also be provided.
Cardiac Solutions – Cardiac Solutions will provide information about the importance of an AED and answer any questions you have regarding the AED.
J&S Produce – Usually set up at Trinity, J & S Produce has taken time to encourage everyone to try new fruits and vegetables. Fresh produce for sell.
CRV Surveillance – Staff will share the importance of home security and surveillance. Keep your family safe!
First Aid and Safety – Homewood Resident, Suanne Nutter, will show you how to create your own personalized first aid kit.
Alabama Pediatric Dentistry – Dr. Michelle Bajjalieh will be in attendance to answer any dental questions.
