Pool Reservations by Appointment – Due to COVID-19

Posted: 07/10/2020 – Due to a positive COVID-19 test the pools will be closed until further notice. The staff is currently deep cleaning the facilities to ensure the safety of our patrons. We will announce plans for reopening as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The lifeguard last worked at Central Pool on Monday & Tuesday. All Aquatic Staff is being sent to be tested as a precaution.


Effective June 29, 2020 at 5:00 pm: A mask must be worn by any patron 9 years of age and older to gain admittance to Homewood Central Pool or The Pool @ Patriot Park .

Pools Exemption Notes: Masks can be removed at pool facilities once the patron is 6 foot distanced from persons not from the same household outdoors. Masks cannot be worn underwater, on slides or diving boards.


Restrictions may be increased/decreased by State or County Guidelines at any time. Locker-rooms will be closed; Please arrive in proper swimming attire

Limit 80 people per (2) hour time frame; Signup Genius will be used to reserve space for both Homewood Central Pool and The Pool @ Patriot Park. Signup Genius will allow registration for pool sessions once they are within 72 hours.

Effective Immediately: You may only sign up members of your family that are listed on your account.
– If there is not a quantity selection showing when you get to the sign-up screen the session is either already full or you need to refresh your screen.
– Session signups open 72 hours prior to the session taking place.
– Due to high demand; session days have now been combined. This can be seen as days will be listed together on tabs. Patrons are only allowed to signup for one pool session per grouped days. This one session per day includes both pool facilities.

The most common reasons your pool session is being deleted:
1) Quantity selected is less than the amount of patrons listed will attend.
2) You were signed up for multiple sessions during the same day or grouped sessions.
3) Your signup contains patrons not on your membership account.
4) Membership is not currently active.


Pool sessions will be by appointment only as follows at both Homewood Central Pool and The Pool @ Patriot Park:

Monday – Saturday
10:00am-12:00pm
12:20pm-2:20pm
2:40pm-4:40pm
5:00pm-7:00pm

Sunday
1:00pm- 3:20pm
– 3:40pm-6:00pm


* Members will be required to sign a waiver before using the facility their initial visit. If the members is under 18 years of age a parent/guardian must sign the waiver – Please click here for the waiver **

* Swim Lessons & Swim Team for 2020 are cancelled.

* The Play Structure, Diving Boards, Splash Pad and Slides are all open for use.

* Locker and shower areas will be closed but bathrooms will be open; changing clothes in the bathroom is not allowed per current guidelines.

* Homewood Parks will not be able to supply life jackets or shared pool equipment due to guidelines.

* No shared pool toys will not be allowed to be brought into pool facilities per guidelines.

* No guests will be admitted until further notice.

* No after-hour pool party’s will take place at this time.

* No courtesy breaks will take place during these adjusted hours.

* Removal of half the chairs has occurred at each pool facility; remaining chairs will be placed in pairs with proper distancing placed between each pair. Please do not move chairs.

* Concessions are not open at this time; outside food/beverages are still not permitted into the pool facilities due to Jefferson County Pool Guidelines.
