Christmas
Parade
Parade Registration
Registration opens for Homewood organizations and businesses. These groups receive the first opportunity to register for the parade.
If space remains, registration will open to non-Homewood organizations and businesses on this date.
Through Downtown Homewood
The parade begins at Homewood Public Library, travels east on Oxmoor Road, turns left onto 18th Street South, passes under the Christmas Star, then continues along 29th Avenue, 19th Street and past City Hall before turning onto 28th Avenue.
The Homewood Star is lit as the parade enters downtown, and the evening culminates with the lighting of the Christmas tree at City Hall Plaza.
